Nightmares In Wax – in a space outta sound (CD)

I got this at Renaissance Montréal for 2.00 $. I knew the name and it came out on Warp records in 2006. It`s rare I see second hand albums from artists on Warp records and for 2.00 $ it was a steal. Nightmares In Wax are an electronic music duo consisting of George (D.J.E.A.S.E.) and Robin Taylor-Firth. `In a space outta sound `is their fifth album. There`s 12 instrumental / song oriented tracks (63.58 minutes). The music blends electronic with downtempo and trip hop with some chill-out, funk, reggae and disco influences. Not reinventing the wheel here but an interesting album nonetheless. The last song titled `African pirates` (6.25 minutes) is simply mind blowing disco + electronic + some funk and trip hop on the side what else is there to say.
