During my life I`ve had to deal with lotsa bad \
crappy moments.I think that everybody on this planet has crap to deal with (we
all have our own). I`d like to share my personal experience on how to deal
properly with bad times. Life is like a rollercoaster ride. There`s ups and
downs. They seem to belong together like the yin and yang. It`s all a matter of
perception. And perception is a unique and personal experience. Let`s start
with the bad side of things so we can end this on a more positive note.
Ignoring
the problem: you won`t solve anything, worst it will come back to
haunt you eventually and with interest (that`s karma).
Bitching
and complaining: the worst possible attitude because, again you don`t
solve anything and it`s the best way to annoy everybody close to you. Remember
this; everything in life is about attitude.
Finding
a culprit: a total waste of time and energy. Weather it`s your
fault, your neighbors, the cat, the old lady next door, the government`s fault.
It doesn`t matter. You`re losing time here deal with it and move on.
THE PROPER WAY :
Acceptance: shit
happens. You look at it examine it, accept it (it`s there anyways) and keep on
going. The journey of life is full of ups and downs. Even in complete darkness
there`s a small light somewhere you have to find it and keep on going.
Experience
points: you try to solve the problem the best way you think
or can. It`s irrelevant if you succeeded or failed miserably. You`ve gained
experience on the subject. Therefore it made you a stronger, better person.
Humor:
it`s never fun when shit happens. But it happens. Again everything is about
attitude. I prefer to face death while thinking of a good joke then crying,
begging for my life or bitching. When it happens it happens.
Everything in life happens for a reason. And you can`t
always figure out right on the spot why it`s happening. When a door closes
somewhere another door opens up elsewhere. It`s simple but it`s exactly like
that. You sit down, relax, observe the signs, and think before acting (or doing
anything under the influence of your own urges \ emotions). Respect is
extremely important (respect yourself, your surroundings, everything ). By
respecting others you actually respect yourself. About ten years ago I would
have never believed it but karma really, really works. Throw crap \ anger \ negativity at the universe = it
will eventually bit you in the ass. Throw good things \ acts of selflessness \ positive
energy at the universe = the universe will eventually repay you. It works in
mysterious ways though. I know it works and I firmly believe it. Last but not
least attitude: the heavyweight boxer.
He`s been knocked up a lot of times but he still comes back to defend himself
against any given opponent. He never backs down, that`s the fighting spirit the
attitude of a true warrior. Never back down in the face of adversity. Dealing
with all those left hooks, right hooks, uppercuts, bad times which life gives
you. If it doesn`t kill you it will make you stronger….depending of your
attitude, of course. Last
but not least: live life to the fullest because it`s happening right now . Time
is moving so fast, the future is nearly stepping in. Time doesn`t stop. It
doesn`t go backwards. It never stops moving. Eventually we grow old, die and
fade away. Live like as if it`s your last day, without any regrets (just in
case). And enjoy your life is so much more worth it.
