Monsieur Populaire – la barbiche de Champlain (1995) (mp3)

Jimmy Beaulieu recorded this album in one evening (wish I could do the same, yes I did; Flesh For Frank`s - the CHRNX sessions). I like this album it is more `rock `oriented than previous albums. I enjoyed all the pieces but a couple of tracks literally blew my mind, and they are:
1 – vouiquainde neige frette (53 seconds) = amazing experimental ambient minimalism.
3 – mon beau squidou – démo (7.07 minutes) = nice instrumentations, a good mix of techno / rock / new wave (the Ryback in me says; FEED ME MORE!!!).
5 – Champlain (7.40 minutes) = it sounds like track number three but has a more melancholic, somber and / or jazzy feel, good stuff.
6 – ce re alement beau (9.50 minutes) = dance floor oriented techno with some minimal house, acid techno elements thrown in for good measure.
7 – sergent fais-moi beurre (5.24 minutes) = minimal techno + house = electronic bliss.
